I just added my name to your list without reading the many stories from other guys named Kim. I like to add, that in Denmark, the name is quite common. We are 30688 males and 294 females named Kim, out of of population of 5,5 million. So if any of you Kim´s want to have a brake...visit Denmark...no one will notice your name...that is if you are male.

The use of the male name Kim in Denmark was not common until after WW2. Under the occupation by the germans, a young guy named Kim Malthe Bruun became a hero in the resistance. He was taken and executed by the germans just before the liberation. As he was a hero to their fathers and mothers, most of the Kim´s around here, are born in the period from 1945-1960. Not many people knows that fact today, not even the Kim´s.
